Yes! Pest Gone Pest Control guarantee that the pests won’t come back for 11 months and if they do, we will return and conduct the treatment again at no charge.
Cockroaches and carpet moths are what we see most, thanks to the warm, humid conditions here in Brisbane
We recommend regular treatments for cockroaches, silverfish, ants and spiders. These may be done annually, although in some cases may be required more often. Read more in this blog post here on our site.
It’s important to remember that just because you can’t see pests doesn’t mean they’re not there. Don’t become complacent. To maintain control of pests on your property it is important to continue regular treatments.
You can do it, but that doesn’t mean you should. Firstly, you’re using chemicals you’re not trained or experienced in using, which can be dangerous if not done properly. Secondly, the products you buy off the shelf have the same active ingredients that we use commercially, but not at the same concentration, so they won’t have the same effect or last as long. You should always call a professional pest control because we’re trained to use these chemicals in the safest way possible for the most effective treatment.
We’re fully trained to use pest control chemicals in quantities that will effectively kill pests and insects, but are quite safe to humans, pets and the environment when used correctly. We do recommend that you and your pets leave the premises for a few hours during any pest treatment. You don’t have to, but that is our recommendation.
No, we’re experts at getting into tight areas and around furnishings to provide effective treatment. You also don’t need to remove the contents of your kitchen cupboards, however, we do suggest giving items you eat or drink from a quick rinse or wipe over with a damp cloth before their next use.
Our pest sprays are water resistant, but not waterproof. That means occasionally we may need to reschedule your treatment if you’re booked in on a rainy or very windy day.
While we can’t guarantee more spiders will not appear after treatment, the existing ones will have no chance of survival. Their webs may remain, but removing them is as simple as waiting 2-3 days after treatment then bringing them down with a broom or stick.
It’s best not to mop or clean treated areas for 2-3 days after treatment.
Yes! We have a blog post about plants you can grow that naturally repel mosquitos.
There are many different types of cockroaches found across the world. Only 30 different species of cockroach are actually considered pests.
It's a real fact that cockroaches breath through small holes in their body segments, and have an open circulatory system, they can survive up to a week without a head. However, without a head a cockroach can’t drink water or eat, so it will eventually die of dehydration.
